Database and Website Design, Development, and Deployment--All in the Service of Your Mission

Here are some tidbits about working with MS Access, gathered from ten years of our posts on various web fora. Each of these is a generalized answer to a question that many people have asked in the past.

The two places we spend the most time answering questions are comp.databases.ms-access and Tek-Tips. If you don't have a favorite newsreader, you can keep up with CDMA via Google Groups. The people who hang out here know Access as well as anyone in the world. The answers you get will almost always point you in the right direction, though you'll want to take care to forumlate your question well, and you may need a thick skin to handle the tone in which some of the regulars respond.

ABCDataworks is proud to be a Tek-Tips partner. Tek-Tips has over 1,000,000 members and an extremely high signal-to-noise ratio. It really is, for the most part, professionals helping other professionals to get their jobs done, and the moderators do a good job of keeping the tone quite civil.

If you're new to posting technical questions on the web, you might want to read one of the many notes of advice that people have written in an effort to make conversations as fruitful as possible. I wrote just such a piece for the tek-tips community, though most of what is said there can be applied anywhere you're asking for free advice.
